As Contracts Manager, you will report to the Legal Director and support the Go-to-Market team (Sales, Customer Success, and Finance/Procurement). You will review, negotiate, and advise on customer contracts and procurement contracts. You will partner directly with Legal Operations, Finance, Sales, and Customer Success stakeholders. You are a collaborative team member with strong organizational and project management skills, who loves working on deals.
All positions at Postscript are fully remote in North America.
Primary duties
- Advise and support Sales and Customer Success teams during the customer contract process
- Review, negotiate, and provide strategic advice on risk and risk management for a wide range of procurement contracts (SAAS, marketing, events, consulting)
- Work closely with Deal Desk, Finance, and other crossfunctional stakeholders on deal process
- Organize contracts to ensure they are well documented, easily found, and notifications are correct for renewals/cancellations
- Assist Legal to develop best-in-class processes to reduce friction and increase quality of contract reviews and negotiations
- Problem solve and troubleshoot ad-hoc issues as they arise internally and externally
What We’ll Love About You
- Bachelor’s Degree required; J.D., L.L.M. or other relevant degree is welcome but not required
- 3+ years overall relevant work experience in contracts management, or with core responsibilities of technology contracts negotiation and review
- Strong organization and project tracking skills; specific experience with contracts archives is a plus
- Strong time management and prioritization skills, and ability to balance multiple deals in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly identify and understand business goals, find pragmatic solutions, and communicate effectively with crossfunctional stakeholders
- Experience working with Contracts Management Software is a plus
