Controller

• Basic Function/Summary
  Responsibility for a small accounting and clerical department. Plans and directs all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluating accounting and internal control systems and leading departmental staff. Well-respected, international manufacturing company. Responsible for key decision making and has the ability to challenge, negotiate and influence the team while exhibiting a positive and professional attitude.

CCL Label Charlotte is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance department as a Controller. As the Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a progressive accounting role. 2 years as a Controller preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing accounting, CMA preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Leads the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, billings & collections and cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting
• Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor on a monthly basis.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
