Senior Accountant

Convera is looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant with strong analytical skills and experience in financial accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in general ledger accounts and financial statements.

Skills

Strong analytical skills
High level of enthusiasm for understanding accounting processes and systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with large ERP and/or Settlement systems

Responsibilities

Prepare and review journal entries for month-end close processes
Analyze and reconcile complex financial reports and records
Verify and analyze accounting for derivative instruments
Assist with regulatory reports and financial statements in compliance with US GAAP

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
