Overview

CoolToday is currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our team. Our Operations Manager is tasked with increasing  the overall revenue and profitability of the department(s) as well as managing daily field operations for Service and Install, employee training, recruiting, safety, and ensuring the technicians are providing outstanding service to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Operations Management

    • Supervise and manage HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical technicians and other team members as needed.
    • Schedule and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and installations.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

    System Oversight

    • Oversee the performance of HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulations.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
    • Manage system upgrades or replacements.

    Client and Vendor Relations

    • Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships for equipment and supplies.

    Compliance and Safety

    • Ensure adherence to safety standards and local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Conduct safety inspections and train staff on best practices.

    Financial Management

    • Prepare budgets and manage expenses.
    • Develop cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.

    Team Leadership

    • Hire, train, and evaluate staff performance.
    • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience overseeing day-to-day operations within residential HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical service and installation.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving year-over-year business growth
  • Full oversight of businesses ranging from $5 Million to $100 Million Annually
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams toward achieving strategic objectives and driving overall company success.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical systems, including repairs, maintenance, and installations.
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management expertise.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with home services software and tools (ie: Service Titan)
