We have an exciting new opportunity for a highly motivated, dynamic Senior Project Controls Manager who will lead on the management and co-ordination of development activities within Programme Controls to support improvement in People, Process and Systems. The successful candidate should have a good technical ability across the full spectrum of project controls to help support our expansion across the UK.Ā

Provide strategic leadership and potential line management of the Project Controls Quality, Assurance, and Improvement Function.Ā
Establish a Project Controls Quality, Assurance, and Improvement Framework and integrate it within the project.Ā
Accountable for the timely closeout of all assurance findings within Project Controls.Ā
Lead the development and rollout of awareness and practitioner training for Project Controls functions.Ā
Develop functional training plans to support the continued professional development of the Programme Controls teams.Ā
Promote the project as an exemplar in Project Controls through knowledge sharing, networking, and delivering white papers and presentations to the industry.Ā

š¹āÆAbout YouĀ
EssentialĀ
Degree or equivalent qualification in business analysis, accounting, finance, construction, engineering or project management, or related technical field.Ā Ā
A track record of implementing project controls procedures, processes, and systems on large and complex infrastructure projects.Ā
Experience of working within more than one of the Project Controls Functions of: cost control, estimating, scheduling, change management and risk management.Ā Ā
Detailed understanding of earned value analysis.Ā Ā
š¹āÆDesirableĀ
Lean Six Sigma or equivalent qualification and experience.Ā
Experience with Process Mapping techniques and software.Ā
Workshop facilitation experienceĀ
Previous experience in assurance activities within Project Controls.Ā
Expert user of a range of project controls systems.Ā
Active membership of AACE, PMI, APM or similar association with association certifications.Ā
Understanding of various contract types, in particular the NEC suite and FIDIC.Ā
Professionally qualified with chartered or equivalent status.Ā
Experience in the Nuclear sector.Ā
