MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
We’re looking for someone with the following skills, experience and credentials:
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health related field and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in behavioral health with a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience.
- Independently licensed as a LPC, LCSW or Clinical Psychologist required.
- Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by Arizona Department of Public safety or eligible to receive within eight (8) weeks of hire.
- TB Test clearance required
- Must have a valid AZ Driver’s License and ability to meet and maintain the company’s acceptable driving requirements.
Who We Need
The Clinical Director for the Outpatient Program is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults. This position involves both administrative duties and direct client care. The Clinical Director will supervise staff, develop program policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Responsible for the quality and responsiveness of clinical service delivery. Develops and oversees clinical staff and activities that reflect best clinical practice, recovery culture and ensures that program services are provided in accordance with Copa policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws, regulation and licensure/accreditation standards.
JOB SUMMARY (Including, but not limited to):
- Facilitates the integration of a recovery philosophy and the Principles for Persons with a serious mental illness into everyday clinical practice and clinic operations.
- Responsible for overall clinical leadership and the clinical care provided by the campus in close collaboration with the Chief Psychiatrist and Lead Nurse.
- Delivers and manages the clinical supervision of all non-medical clinical staff.
- Serves as mentor, coach and educator for clinical staff, particularly in the area of assessment and treatment planning, ensuring adherence to Copa philosophy, goals and best practices.
- Works with the Site Administrator to develop and oversee educational/learning opportunities and professional development.
- Uses qualitative and quantitative outcomes and analyzes data to identify performance gaps, initiate training, mentoring or performance improvement activities to assist individual clinicians and/or clinical teams to deliver quality behavioral health care.
- Provides clinical direction and leadership in the recruitment, promotion, demotion and termination of all clinical staff.
- Maintains 24 hours/day, 7 days/week availability for clinical needs; appoints a designee in the event of non-availability.
- Other related duties as assigned.
