Join Copa Health, a leader in community behavioral health services, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. We are seeking a compassionate Counselor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide integrated behavioral health support, including assessments, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, and coordination of care.
- Monitor and evaluate members' progress, offering ongoing assessment and feedback.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in line with Copa Health’s protocols.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field, with 1-2 years of behavioral health experience.
- Licensed at the Associate level, working toward Independent licensure (LAC, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW) with the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
- Experience in community behavioral health settings, particularly with high-acuity members, is preferred.
- Proficient in DSM IV, State SMI checklist, community resources, psychotropic medications, crisis intervention, and clinical methods.
- Strong skills in MS Office and EMR/EHR systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team with cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass required background checks.
