Copyeditor

• This can be a full-time or contract position, working remotely from anywhere within the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Core responsibility will be to review voiceover copy to ensure the following: Content is accurate throughout design documents; Language is concise, comprehensible, accurate, and consistent; Distinct and realistic speaking voices are applied to each character; Spelling, punctuation, and grammar are correct
• Adhere to style guidelines
• Liaise with Instructional Designers, VO Artists, and development support team members
• Collaborate with other editors
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 4+ years experience in copyediting, preferred background in vocational education or similar
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field (or equivalent job-related experience)
• Experience editing scripts and dialogue preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail, prioritizing accuracy and quality
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Google Drive, specifically Google Docs and Google Sheets a plus
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
