Copywriter

Your Role...:

We seek a Copywriter to join our marketing team and help execute a wide range of copy supporting all shopping channels, including web product pages, packaging, and print. Working closely with marketing, merchandising, and design, this role will help connect customers to our brands with copy that focuses on selling. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated and collaborative, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Develop efficient and effective composed product content and copy that articulate features and benefits with an SEO focus.
Translate creative briefs and project objectives into content that encapsulates Blick's established voice and reflects our brand's standpoint.
Work synergistically with designers, marketers, and other teams to deliver content that meets project specifications with quick turnarounds.
Recognize and address the distinct requirements of various customer segments.
Assist in curating internal corporate messaging and staff communications to elevate internal communication endeavors.

Requirements:

Proven expertise in crafting compelling, effective copy across e-commerce and retail channels.
Strong written and oral communication abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and a vital mastery of grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
Comprehensive knowledge of SEO principles and an ability to fine-tune content for search engines.
High-level project management skills, including managing multiple tasks concurrently and meeting demanding deadlines.
Independently motivated and team-focused, having the capability to collaborate seamlessly with internal partners across various departments.

Proficiencies and Skills:

3+ years of experience in copywriting.
A portfolio of writing work.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
Interest or knowledge of the visual arts, art education, or art materials a plus.
