Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are seeking a TBIT Terminal Refresh Design Manager to support an airport project within the Facilities Sector. The TBIT Terminal Refresh Design Manager reports to the TBIT Terminal Refresh Project Managerand is responsible for the design management of the TBIT Terminal Refresh Project. The TBIT Terminal Refresh Project will perform major renovations of the TBIT departures and arrivals levels toinclude new Terrazzo, ceilings, wall linings, information booths, ticket counters, common-use self-service kiosks as well as reconfiguration of the domestic baggage claim and recheck area. The characteristi cs of the candidate shall include a solid understanding of airport terminal functi onsand assets such as passenger processing, baggage processing, airline operati ons, and aircraft /apronrequirements.The individual must be knowledgeable in all design deliverables and be able to recognize quality vs. incomplete design work and take appropriate actions accordingly. The individual shall be driven to “think outside the box” and find design solutions while collaborating with stakeholders and designers.
The TBIT Terminal Refresh Design Manager establishes and monitors procedures for architectural & engineering review activities to ensure they are done according to best practices and standards identified in the Contract. The TBIT Terminal Refresh Design Manager shall oversee design supportmanagement, scope of work management, design review and approval, permitti ng, agencycoordinati on support, and building informati on modelling (BIM) coordinati on. The TBIT Terminal Refresh Design Manager supports the TBIT Terminal Refresh Project Manager in providing oversightof the architectural, structural, mechanical electrical plumbing (MEP), civil, utilities, and IT disciplines per LAWA standards.
Salary Range: $136,000 to $154,000 per year
Location: Los Angeles, CA.
