Core Accounts Sales Rep
New York, World Trade Center; Atlanta, Peachtree Road; Chicago, N Green Street; United States Remote – East or Central Coast preferred
Why this job is important
This role is accountable for all aspects of the account plan for portfolio companies (Core Accounts), from account maintenance to cross-selling to achieving general portfolio retention and growth goals
What you’ll be doing

Cultivate, strengthen and retain key client relationships through developing an understanding of clients’ business objectives/needs and ensuring exceptional client service

Identifies Core client business needs and recommends innovative solutions and methodologies to deliver on these needs through consultative selling and negotiating skills

Identify new opportunities with Core clients, conducting analysis of marketplace data, and existing knowledge of the market research and competitive landscape

Lead RFP and proposal development process including collaborating with Solution Delivery and Practice teams as well as with pre-sales and leadership teams; build a compelling, differentiated story for new client proposals

Collaborates with Solution Delivery teams to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention across all solutions

Manage all aspects of the account growth plan leading client outreach, presentations/demos, day-to-day management of accounts

Uses sales management system(s) (I.e. Salesforce) to ensure accurate and current information; provides regular activity reports to senior management

Maintain knowledge of Kantar products and services, as well as trends in the market research industry, supplying to the teams’ efforts in monetizing the products we offer to target client audiences
The skills & experience needed
-
10+ years of account management and revenue growth experience in market research, analytics, insights, and media solutions; selling to Mid-Senior marketing decision makers. Market Research, Marketing Analytics, Brand Research experience a plus

Shown success generating revenue with multi-million-dollar new business/new logo quota attainment and subscribing products

Experience leading strategic research engagements/programs and working cross-functionally to improve the value of client relationships through expansion of work (volume and complexity)

Strong executive presence and success in developing deep and lasting client relationships, particularly at senior levels

Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into concise, enlightening messaging

Excellent commercial competence, presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay focused on clients and growing the business.

The salary range for this role in New York is $103,900-173,100. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
