Assists with maintaining client SLA and SLA compliance reporting and integration with the Client Success Team. Assists Data Center Manager to create and maintain a culture of professionalism, operational excellence, and a place where people love to work and build a career in. Provides leadership to all team members in the interest of providing professional and personal advancement. Assists the Data Center Manager with daily operation of the facility and infrastructure supporting client compute assets. Oversees all aspects of the warehouse and assists with the management of all Client Hosted and Core Scientific assets within every phase of the asset disposition. Assists with keeping the Data Center compliant with corporate initiatives, priorities, and product developments. Understands and has strong knowledge of all mission critical systems that keep data center operating at the highest level. Participates in the design and development of new expansions or retrofits within the Data Center, resource management and critical workflow for projects needed within data center.Responsibilities• Assists Data Center Manager with deployments, decommissions, Data Center operations and training of new employees.• Oversees all aspects of the warehouse shipping, receiving, inventory management, and quality control.• Assists with Asset Lifecycle Management from arrival to Data Center to RMA retirement.• Responsible for recording of received inventory and deployment deliveries.• Operates forklift, and other warehouse tools and equipment assists in training of warehouse equipment.• Manages time off requests and approval of timesheets.• Assists with planning for deployments of client-hosed assets, including validation of capacity - power, cooling, network infrastructure.• Assists with the management of labor for site standup, customer move-in or decommission activities.• Assists with Goal setting for the performance and evolution of the Data Center.• Assists with defining, maintaining, and enforcing performance metrics in all facets of the Data Center.• Ensures employees are following safety rules and procedures.• Ensures employees are trained and understand how to complete the jobs they are performing.• Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/ teammates and leaders across the organization.• Performs other duties as assigned.NOTE: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential responsibilities.Qualifications• High school diploma/GED Required.• 2-4 years of experience in the technology field required.• Valid drivers' license required.• Strong work ethic, leadership and team building skills required. • Good understanding of Network, Electrical, Mechanical and building systems required.• Proficient with Web Based Programs, Excel and Word Processing required.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.• Basic product knowledge of blockchain and network equipment preferred.LocationAustin, TexasTravelOccasional travel between data centers.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office, warehouse and data center environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smartphones, ladders, forklifts, and scissor lifts. While performing these duties the employee will be exposed to hot and cold environments.  Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands; and lift up to 40 pounds.Position Type/ Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time, onsite position.
