Traffic Coordinator

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Traffic Coordinator who is motivated and detail-oriented to join our team! Position includes comprehensive benefits package and paid time off on day one and mentorship support to ensure successful team member growth and development. Overtime is anticipated with this full-time, direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Process Shipping transactions in computer system
• Set up deliveries with customers
• Maintain backorders and communication with all stakeholders.
• Schedule/Dispatch Cornerstone Driver Fleet Route Trucks
• Manage Fleet Preventative Maintenance and Repairs
• Set up shipments with 3rd Party Carriers
• Complete daily Fedex shipping tasks
• Negotiate Freight rates with 3rd Party Carriers
• General Labor in different departments of the shop facility
• Customer Service
• Provide support to the shipping/loading team

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)

Experience 

• Previous work experience in Shipping warehouse environment preferred
• Previous transportation dispatch experience preferred
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Computer skills (Email, Internet, Word, Excel)

Language

• Bilingual Proficiency with the ability to communicate in both English and Spanish Preferred

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
