Business Development Representative

Cova, a leading software solutions provider for cannabis retail, is seeking a Business Development Representative to handle inbound sales inquiries and drive revenue growth. Ideal candidates are passionate about the industry and eager to excel in sales.

Skills

  • Superior verbal communication skills
  • Experience in working with diverse groups
  • Previous cold calling or sales experience preferred
  • Aptitude for software principles and business systems
  • Proficiency in M365 tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking abilities

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound cold calls to potential customers and engage with new markets.
  • Qualify leads, share product/company information, and screen prospects.
  • Coordinate with Account Executives to set appointments and follow up with clients.
  • Maintain records of client interactions and engage in nurture campaigns.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Cova and meet activity goals for client communication.
