THE ROLE

As a key member of the Talent and People Team, you will help attract and retain top diverse talent by slating, recruiting, and screening candidates, providing an exceptional candidate experience, and contributing to improving our overall Talent and People operations. You will work closely with the Head of People and hiring managers to understand our organizational needs and provide valuable impact in our shared goal of helping Covariant scale. In this role, you will have a chance to deeply partner with hiring managers in building their teams and contribute to the growth of a Talent function that consistently delivers excellence in results.  This role requires someone with an exceptional work ethic, who is ready to hit the ground running, excited to learn, and ready to make a noticeable impact with a revolutionary company!

  • Operational improvement and investment in the talent function


YOU WILL
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs 
  • Bring to bear your up-to-date knowledge of the talent market to optimize outreach strategy for your pipelines
  • Source some of your own candidates - we have great sourcing support, but we all do some!
  • Create and maintain diverse slates for senior roles 
  • Craft positioning in the talent market that takes advantage of our particular value propositions, and delivers individualized, but consistent pitches for candidates that can be refined over time as Covariant evolves
  • Deliver excellent candidate experience for your roles and contribute to the candidate experience across the organization 
  • Drive the pipeline together with Talent Operations, effectively communicating and engaging hiring managers and candidates alike 
  • Effectively serve as a subject matter expert on Covariants’ recruiting process, training hiring managers, but also taking feedback and making widespread improvements
  • Partner with Talent Operations to dive into metrics and debug challenging pipelines bringing creativity and insight


YOU HAVE
  • At least 4+ year(s) of technical sourcing and recruiting experience 
  • Successful track record for identifying and gaining interest from passive candidates and successfully closing candidates in highly competitive industries 
  • Ability to deliver on opportunities to improve our talent and people practices holistically, not just for an individual pipe
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of integrity
  • Spirit of collaboration and partnership, with hiring managers and with your Talent team colleagues
  • Drive to a high bar of execution while juggling multiple projects and roles in a fast-paced environment
  • Deep passion for learning 


$100,000 - $150,000 a year
Base pay is one element of our total rewards package which may also include comprehensive benefits, equity, etc., depending on eligibility. The actual base pay offered will be determined by factors such as years of relevant experience, skills, education, etc. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
