Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.Job DescriptionThis position will work directly with clients to coordinate their vehicles through the auction process. This is an outside/inside position.New Hire Sign On Bonus:$1,000 SIGN ON BONUS TO BE PAID IN FULL AFTER 90 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENTJob Responsibilities:• Manage account relationships• Execute the SOP provided by the customer• Review client's vehicles to determine if repairs are needed to increase vehicle value.• Respond to customer inquiries relating to vehicles. Provide quality service and assist in resolving problems.• Communicate with all Auction departments to ensure inventory is flowing appropriately• Ensure the client's sale is executed as planned• Review vehicles in sale line up, locate missing vehicles, and work with account representative to ensure vehicles are ready for sale.• Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.• Perform other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:Minimum-• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.• OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline.• OR 5 years’ experience in a related field• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.• Effective communication and organization skills required.• Commitment to providing excellent customer service essential.Preferred-• Prior experience in vehicle reconditioning, general auto body knowledge, etc. helpful.• Satisfactory computer skills and the ability to utilize a portable terminal, brick, etc. preferred.Work Environment:• This is an outdoor role, meaning exposure to weather elements is to be expected.Drug TestingTo be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position.
