We’re looking for a driven professional with an inclusive mindset to join our team as an Assistant Site Merchant.As the Assistant Site Merchant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Site Merchandising team with the end-to-end site experience for a specific category on crate & barrel website and mobile app in executing strategic initiatives and maintaining high standards through data driven optimizations. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate product attribution, category mapping and page ranking strategies that optimize site performance and enhance user experience.This is a hybrid position that works in the Northbrook, IL corporate headquarters 2-3 days per week.A day in the life as an Assistant Site Merchant…• Drive site execution to bring the customer online shopping experience to life and meet or exceed financial goals and drive conversion• Work with the Site Merchandising team to analyze site metrics related to user behavior, product performance, leveraging insights for optimization• Manage the execution of product attribution, mapping products to appropriate categories, and implementing page ranking strategies to maximize visibility and sales• Maintain seasonal launches and creative briefs ensuring timely and accurate updates• Participate in user testing to validate site functionality, presentation accuracy, and product data integrity. Identify opportunities for enhancement• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including merchants, marketing and creative departments to ensure seamless execution of site updates• Propose taxonomy enhancements for categories based on seasonal trends and competitive analysis• Maintain a level of product knowledge to ensure product information and presentation are accurate• Incorporate best practices in online merchandising while maintaining overall company, eCommerce and merchandising strategy• Effectively utilize all merchandising tools and features to increase sales• Develop a strong working knowledge of related systems and dependencies (AS400, PIM, Digital Asset Management tools, QA environments)What you’ll bring to the table…• Strong communication and collaboration skills; This position requires extensive cross-functional communication and will work with various team members to maintain accuracy of products and content• Ability to quickly learn new processes and systems• Ability to adapt to a fast paced and collaborative environment• Customer-centric and resourceful mindsetWe’d love to hear from you if you have…• Bachelor's degree• 2 years experience in Retail and/or eCommerce Merchandising• Strong analytical skills#li-hybrid
