Motion Graphics +Video Editor

Our client is a financial institution in Houston. They are seeking a Motion Graphic Designer with video editing skills for a 40-hour a week contract position. This role is slated for through January 2025, with the plan for extension and possibility full-time placement.Pay is $33-$42/hr DOE.This is hybrid position with the following hours: ***Hours can be flexible depending on the situation***Monday, Thursday, Friday remote, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.Tuesday and Wednesday, in-office from 10 a.m. 3 p.m.Key Responsibilities:Design and edit high-quality video content for various platforms, including YouTube, social media, media ads, and TV commercials, specifically tailored for a financial institution.Collaborate with product teams to bring their vision to life through engaging video content that highlights financial services, community engagement, and products.Work closely with compliance teams to ensure all video content meets regulatory requirements.Partner with the brand team to ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent brand voice.Work extensively with the Brand Copywriter to create compelling scripts and concepts for videos.Utilize creative storytelling and technical expertise to produce compelling video narratives that resonate with our target audience.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of final products.Stay updated on the latest video editing software, trends, and techniques, with a focus on AI platforms and financial sector trends.Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance video content, maintaining a high standard of quality.Skills / Qualifications:Proven experience as a motion graphic designer and video editor, with a strong portfolio or reel demonstrating expertiseProficiency in software such as the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), plus if you know Cinema 4DPlus if you have working knowledge of generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Krea, Magnific, ElevenLabs, Udio)Excellent storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail.Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and best practices for various platforms.Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, compliance, and brand teams preferred.Creative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
