About the job


Our client, one of the largest independent health insurance agencies in the country, is looking for a REMOTE Marketing Specialist.


This long-term, fully remote, contract will start around 25-30 hours per week with the intention to ramp up closer to 40 hours per week, and continue well into 2025.


The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in delegating and facilitating daily tasks to various internal teams and stakeholders, and keeping projects on schedule.


In this highly visible role, the ideal Marketing Specialist is comfortable being client-facing and communicating directly with stakeholders, and should possess strong project management skills.


Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:


  • Assist in planning meetings and webinars, including creating agendas, coordinating with speakers, etc.
  • Updating templated PowerPoint slides/decks
  • Ensure deliverables maintain brand tone and voice guidelines
  • Coordinate with creative teams to make necessary revisions to deliverables, manage approvals, etc.
  • Submit assets for legal review
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, updates, and timelines


Marketing Specialist Requirements:


  • 4+ years' relevant experience in marketing and/or project management
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ideally experience in an in-house agency or ad agency
  • Microsoft Office
