About the job


Our client in the spirits/beverage industry is looking for a Social Media Content Coordinator to join their team.


This role is fully onsite, 40 hours/week through the end of 2024 with the potential to extend. MUST be willing to work fully onsite in Central San Diego.


The Social Media Content Coordinator will:


  • Create Instagram reels featuring products and related promotional content while following social media best practices and current trends to increase visibility and engagement
  • Work with internal teams to develop concepts for strategic monthly content calendar to align with overarching marketing plans alongside the Digital Brand Manager.
  • Organize, catalog, and manage marketing-approved image assets to ensure they are current and readily available for creative use.
  • Capture and edit videos that include content for social media, commercial platforms, presentation materials and more. May include locating and gathering stock / b-roll assets as required when fit for the project.
  • Work within social media in-platform editing software to add promotional graphic elements, text, music in compliance with current alcohol & beverage legal parameters, marketing strategy, and more
  • Edit static imagery and social media content content via Canva or related design programs
  • Collaborate with Director of Marketing, Creative and Digital Brand Manager for full-year creative strategy
  • Combine creative storytelling skills and data-informed strategy to create and execute content
  • Build and optimize technique and processes supporting set, product, and prop styling
  • Develop deep understanding and ownership of brand voice and product knowledge as it is represented through organic content posts for local, regional and national targets


This Social Media Coordinator will need:


  • 2+ years in Social Media/ Content Creation with a focus on video for organic social assets
  • Instagram reels, Tiktok video creation
  • Adobe Creative Suite a plus!
  • Nice to have: CPG, alcohol industry experience
  • Understanding of current market trends
