Our client, a pioneer in the housing and finance industry, is seeking a Social Media Specialist. Ideal candidates have experience working with very regulated content!This is a freelance to full time opportunity (typically converting after 3 months of freelancing, for the right person), that requires going onsite to an Austin office. All equipment will be provided.Social Media Specialist Responsibilities:• Strategize, plan and manage the day-to-day content• Recommend and build social media experiences that engage the appropriate audiences and inform them of our products and services• Ensure that all content is approved, accurate and continuously up to date. Keep corporate sites updated with fresh, relevant and engaging content• Partner with and monitor internal and external relationships relative to the successful integrated implementation of social media strategy, platform management and administration required to manage social media accounts and campaigns• Build relationships with online contributors/ambassadors that have positive influence in the real estate industry• Use measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives• Summarize insights and conversations to create actionable reports that lead to optimization• Advocate, train, and demonstrate good use of social media and Compliance best practices among branch users• Monitor corporate and outside social media outlets, and recommend improvements, if necessary• Stay current on social media best practices and integrate them into the overall marketing strategy for the business• Act as lead specialist for other social media positions providing guidance and direction as neededSocial Media Specialist Requirements:• 4+years of related experience and/or training developing, managing, monitoring, and analyzing social media platforms for brands in a corporate setting• Knowledge of professional social media management, online forums and conversation auditing tools including, but not limited to Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Spredfast, Falcon.io, Meltwater, etc.• Exceptional writer and editor for varied audiences and ability to communicate in a direct, concise manner, while also making the content interesting and compelling -- keeping in mind strict regulation!• Knowledge of the impact of social media on search engine optimization (SEO) and paid online campaigns• Ability to communicate effectively with all employees, including the executive committee• Must be able to work within tight deadlines and budget(s)• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment• Proficiency with MS Office and email• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Communications, Digital Media, Advertising, Marketing and/or BusinessCreative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
