POSITION SUMMARY:

Hach’s Creative Director develops and executes the ongoing brand vision, campaigns, and overall visual and written communication strategies that will continue to elevate and evolve Hach’s market leading brand across multiple market segments. Reporting into the Global Brand Director, this position will be a key creative collaborator within our global and regional marketing teams and help direct all agency activities and brand standards.

This role will be based on-site at our Loveland, CO headquarters.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the creative process from concept to completion
  • Translate brand and marketing objectives into clear creative strategies, influencing the organization around the implementation of these creative strategies
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary project teams driving brand and customer experience advancement
  • Provide creative direction to the creative and internal comms teams in the production of all corporate and marketing collateral
  • Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met, while evolving the brand as needed
  • Oversee pitches and proposals to key cross-functional team leaders
  • Review work, provide feedback to collaborators, designers & agencies
  • Remain actively involved in hiring and training creative staff
  • Deliver campaign concepts for product launches and high priority communications campaigns that differentiate Hach’s products and services.
  • Embrace feedback throughout the creative process, iterating quickly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Experience is a key prerequisite for our creative director position. Top candidates have a strong understanding of industry trends and creative tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite. Experience performing or managing a range of creative positions, such as graphic designer, art director and copywriter, is important. Hach’s creative director should have stellar communication, presentation, problem-solving and project-management skills, too. The ability to translate complex water analysis ideas and concepts into powerful human storytelling vehicles is key.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years agency or client creative side experience
  • Award winning work to show
  • Experience with B2B and B2C brands, global water experience a bonus
  • BA in design, creative arts, or similar

Knowledge and skills:

  • Expert level with all Adobe suite products
  • Advanced PPT skills
  • Expert understanding of campaign development and messaging

Hiring into this position is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check and possible credit history review.

The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $125,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado.

This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
