Fossil Group is driven to find the next big thing, and we’re hoping that can include you, as the Creative Operations Coordinator for Katchin, one of Fossil Group’s newest brands. As the Creative Operations Coordinator, you will report directly to the Creative Operations Manager and play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely execution of creative projects. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating creative asset trafficking, sample coordination, and creative asset tagging. You will work closely with internal creative teams, vendors, and agencies to support the delivery of on-strategy and on-time creative content. Additionally, you will have a deep understanding of content requirements for digital marketing channels, such as ecommerce, digital advertising, social media, and CRM.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall campaign timing and ensure timely delivery of insightful briefs to meet deadlines.
  • Translate marketing briefs into actionable projects using our in-house workflow management tool (Workfront), and oversee the projects through completion, including spec confirmation, detailed timing and tasks, approvals/reviews, and asset finalization and sharing.
  • Manage sample requests and coordination for all Katchin shoots and PR/influencer content needs.
  • Coordinate and assist in location-based photo shoots, including potential domestic travel and on-set assistance alongside producer and marketing teams.
  • Coordinate post-production timelines and needs for Katchin campaigns and creative including:
    • DAM management and asset tagging
    • Retouching
    • Video project editing
    • Approvals
    • Versioning
    • Translations
    • Regional communication
    • Final asset trafficking to internal, agency and seller teams
  • Stay informed about all Katchin content needs to help prioritize and resource manage projects as needed and maintain visibility throughout campaign development to ensure continued alignment with project goals.
  • Maintain master calendars, serving as the single-source-of-truth for seasonal and campaign milestones and content delivery to regions.
  • Maintain an understanding of creative specifications, legal requirements, and seller requirements, applying this knowledge to quality control creative assets developed for Katchin.

Your Skills

  • An understanding of the complexities of digital and social marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Solid communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Proficiency in G-Suite, DAM and Project Mgmt Software a plus (Workfront experience a bonus!)
  • Ability to multitask and to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline
  • Experience in marketing operations, creative operations or project management roles - agency experience a plus.
