Who are we looking for?

The Credentialing Specialist provides healthcare insurance enrollment, insurance credentialing, and contracting services for our medical billing clients. You will be responsible for preparing and attesting to CAQH provider profiles, responding to demographic requests, and maintaining the insurance provider’s credentialing files. In this position, you will work with employees at all levels of the organization, insurance providers, and clients. The ideal candidate is highly detailed and comfortable navigating numerous online tools and resources. You’re a strong communicator with both internal and external customers, have solid organizational skills, and apply your analytical skills to solving problems. You have the ability to think critically about process workflow and process improvement.

How much experience are you looking for?

You may be hired as a Credentialing Specialist, or a Senior Credentialing Specialist based on your depth of skill and breadth of experience.

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $17.50 to $20.00, hourly base compensation. Please note this range is an estimate; actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.

What will you do?

• Create and update insurance provider information in the credentialing software
• Create and update CAQH profiles
• Respond to healthcare insurance payor demographic requests
• Maintain insurance provider files on the network

What education and experience do you need?

A combination of the following education and experience factors will be considered:

• Experience in provider enrollment, credentialing, medical billing and medical terminology
• Experience being customer-facing
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
