WHAT WE OFFER
The Credit Analyst position performs credit and collection activities relating to accounts within the assigned Covestro LLC customer portfolio. They will be responsible for managing the credit risk and collection of accounts receivable in accordance with payment terms as well as overseeing the accurate cash application of payments and managing any disputes.
Major Tasks & Responsibilities:

Credit – Including but is not limited to; perform credit risk assessment by gathering general credit and financial information, spreading of financial information, scoring and approving or recommending credit limits for third party customers through financial and non-financial data analysis and research.

Collections – Including but is not limited to; Developing relationships with customers to discuss collection of past due invoices, improving payment performance, dispute resolution, liaison with customer regarding any issues related to payment or payment terms and maintain DSO and DDO performance in line with Business Entity goals and objectives.

Perform maintenance, reconciliation, and order review for third party customers. Manage customer order blocks/releases.

Proactively manage and develop system and technology advances that will add greater efficiency and effectiveness for department.

Establish and maintain alignment and partnership with the Business Entity Credit Manager, Supply Chain Center and Business Entity Sales and Marketing.

Act as SAP Key User as assigned.
WHAT YOU OFFER
Qualifications:
-
A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance with a minimum of one (1) year experience, preferably in Commercial Credit and Collections for a large corporation

Technical expertise to act with independence in making credit decisions within credit authority.

Experience as a leader in the credit field.

Ability to handles complex issues independently

Ability to develop alternative solutions to problems through creativity and innovation.

Ability to lead teams and projects as needed.

Promotes a team approach to departmental responsibilities.

Thorough understanding of commercial credit
