Summary

Inside Crew Members serve customers or prepare food in the kitchen. Cashier duties include taking orders, answering questions, and ringing out customers on the cash register. Morning prep duties include preparing ingredients, filling coolers, and preparing for lunch and dinner rushes. Pizza maker duties include preparing dough, portioning toppings, and cooking pizzas. All team members must maintain a clean work environment.

Cashier/Morning Prep Help:

Position Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility is dealing with customers—taking payment, making change and delivering food order.
• Performs cashier and other clerical duties.
• Prepares dough for square and round pizza.
• Prepares salads and subs.
• Prepares and stores all veggies for the subs and pizza.
• Fills containers of pizza toppings and stores the remainder of toppings in the cooler.
• Prepares and sets up for the lunch & dinner rushes.
• Cleans up the back make station area.
• Fills the pop cooler during slow times and also aids any other position if possible.
• If necessary, the cashier should be familiar with the cut side in order to provide relief if needed.
• Keeps the lobby and counter clean.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pizza Maker:

Position Responsibilities

• Make and cut pizzas.
• Able to work the pizza table as a middle or lead position. On a busy night there may be three people running the pizza table, and the responsibilities shift. E.g.:
• The leader would start and sauce the pizza.
• The middle pizza maker would add the cheese.
• The third pizza maker would top the pizza and make sure all items are on the pizza and take the pizza to the oven.

• Make subs, salads, etc.
• Run register and greet people.
• Answer phones.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• Pleasant and polite to customers at all times.
• Must be dedicated, honest, a hard worker, oriented toward customer service, and able to work as part of a team.
• Previous pizzeria experience a plus.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, you are required to use hands repetitively, stand for prolonged periods, walk, grasp firmly/strongly and simply/lightly with hands, and use fine finger dexterity. The team member is frequently required to bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally, the team member is required to sit, climb, balance, push and/or pull, and lift and/or move over 50 pounds.

Work Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job, you are required to work in a noisy environment, near moving mechanical parts, with dangerous equipment or sharp tools, and around fumes, odors, dust, or toxic chemicals. Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler. Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 degrees or higher. In-store temperatures range from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas. Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
