Sales Director

The Sales Manager will lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue targets and expand our client base across various industries. This role requires a proven track record in B2B sales, startup experience, and the ability to adapt to market changes and shifts in sales strategies. The ideal candidate will be strategic, results-oriented, and passionate about driving success in a competitive marketplace.

Job Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement innovative sales strategies that align with the changing needs of diverse industries. Adapt and refine strategies to respond to market trends, regulatory updates, and evolving customer demands, especially in B2B.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets. Provide ongoing coaching and development to enhance team performance and adapt to industry shifts, particularly within the B2B and startup landscape.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities and potential challenges. Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts to stay ahead in the B2B marketplace.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify, target, and secure potential clients across various industries, focusing on B2B relationships. Build strong connections with key decision-makers, including C-level executives, business owners, and operations managers.
  • Change Management: Drive the sales team’s ability to adapt to market changes by developing and implementing change management strategies. Ensure the team is equipped to handle the nuances of selling to diverse industries, with a particular focus on B2B dynamics.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the specific needs of each industry. Clearly articulate the value of our services and solutions in addressing operational challenges and improving business outcomes for B2B clients.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools. Track sales activities, forecast revenue, and report on sales performance. Adjust pipeline management strategies as necessary to meet the demands of the B2B market.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing, operations, and client success teams to ensure sales efforts align with company objectives. Facilitate a seamless client experience and ensure strong cross-functional communication.
  • Industry Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate leads. Stay connected with industry leaders to remain informed of any shifts in the sector, particularly in the B2B environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 3 years in a sales management role.
  • Proven experience working within a startup environment is required.
  • Strong understanding of B2B operations, market trends, and the unique challenges faced by businesses in various industries.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding teams through market shifts and strategy changes in a startup setting.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, particularly in a dynamic and evolving B2B market.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with B2B clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) with the ability to manage and adapt the sales pipeline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on adapting to new market demands.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Experience leading teams through change, particularly in transitioning to new industries or adopting new sales strategies.
