This is an opportunity for you to grow your owncareer while also building our team culture and influencing the growthof our products!As an Active Member of our Team, You Will...- Use a hands-on approach to plan, develop, and maintain API anddeveloper documentation (SDK) to support a growing productportfolio.- Collaborate closely with a wide range of cross-functionalconstituents as well as our user community to create technicalcontent and in-product guidance that meets the needs of our growingaudience.- Build strong community and cross-functional relationships to helpexpand your knowledge of our products, our users, and the real worldproblems they face every day.- Have a growth mindset! Keep up to date on tech writing industrytrends and use what you learn to help our team innovate at everylevel.- Learn from our team as you improve your writing, technicalknowledge, and ability to think through tough problems with a focuson customer outcomes.- Bring your positive attitude and sense of humor to help us foster aculture that is collaborative, innovative, and inclusive.If You've Got It, We Want It- 4+ years experience working as an API writer, content developer, orsimilar role.- Ability to create and test relevant API examples, familiarity withthe Swagger API platform.- Demonstrated ability to produce API and SDK documentation with afocus on the overall developer experience, not just the code.- Excellent English-language written and verbal communication skills.- A portfolio that showcases your skills in enterprise softwaredocumentation aimed at technical audiences, including developers andsystem administrators.- Experience working in a startup serving enterprise users and buyers.- Experience working with cloud infrastructure, services, andstreaming data.- Demonstrated ability to follow a house style guide, edit andself-edit according to it, and expand it where needed.- Willingness to work and grow in an ambiguous and fast-movingenvironment.- Ability to prioritize simultaneous requests and overlapping duedates.- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and publish using Git-basedwor flows and static site generators (Hugo, Docusaurus, Gatsby, andso on).- Skill in using Atlassian tools and Google Workspace/G Suite.- You are kind. (You must also like goats, trust us).Salary Range ($110,000 - $145,000)The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salaryoffered within the range described will be based on the individualcandidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
