What We're Looking For:

We are looking for developers experienced with and committed to the Salesforce platform who enjoy working in a collaborative environment of like-minded makers. You'll be collaborating directly with integration developers, product managers and business analysts to build productized Salesforce applications that allow easy distribution and iteration. Your ideas and efforts for innovation are encouraged so we can get the most out of Salesforce with each new release.

About the Team:

The CRM Engineering team is responsible for code-driven automation and UX in 2U's multiple Salesforce Orgs as well as collaborating on API integrations with product teams. Our Salesforce customizations and integrations have all been developed internally by a consistent team since 2U's founding in 2008. 2U is growing rapidly and the team is focused on optimizing scalability and usability of our Salesforce systems.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Salesforce administration, development and API integration
  • Experience Creating and maintaining Apex, Visualforce and Lightning applications
  • Experience with Salesforce SOAP, REST, Metadata, Streaming and Bulk APIs
  • Design and development for Salesforce integrations
  • Building and maintaining deployment tools for version control and continuous integration
  • XML, JSON manipulation and parsing
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Flow capabilities
  • Deployment tools for version control and continuous integration

Over time, we expect you to grow by learning and practicing the following skills:

  • Advocating for improvements to frameworks and SDLC
  • Planning and estimating development tasks and short-term projects
  • Participating in application level technical design
  • Sharing your knowledge with admins and developers in formal and informal training
  • Participating in technical interviews

Our Salesforce Integrations use all of the following technologies, your familiarity with or capability to learn them is highly valued.

  • Languages:
    • Apex, JavaScript
  • Database:
    • SOQL, SQL, GraphQL
  • Deployment Tools
    • Git, Copado, CircleCI
  • Infrastructure-as-a-Service
    • Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • College Degree in technology-related studies preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce developer
  • Salesforce Developer Certifications or Trailhead Superbadges
  • Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($120,000 - $145,000), with potential bonus eligibility. Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.
