Cryptio is seeking a mid-level Front End Engineer to join their remote-first team. The role involves writing production-grade TypeScript code, enhancing and maintaining front-end frameworks, design systems, and components, as well as improving the testing framework. Collaboration with the front-end lead on roadmap definition, prioritization, and research, along with contributing to new feature development, is expected.

Responsibilities

• Write production-grade TypeScript code

• Improve and maintain our internal front end frameworks

• Improve and maintain our design system and our components

• Improve our testing framework and write tests

• Help manage technical debt: collaborate with our front end lead on the roadmap definition, prioritisation, and research

• Contribute to new features development

Requirements

• 1 - 4 years of experience as a front end engineer

• Fluent with HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Proficient with React and TypeScript

• Some experience with CSS frameworks (we use Tailwind and Emotion)

• Some experience with front end E2E testing frameworks (we use Jest and Playwright)

• Familiar with data fetching (we use React Query to consume a REST API) and state management

• Fluent in French

• Impeccable written and spoken English

• Familiar with modern development practices (Git, GitLab…)

• Team player, you thrive when working with others

Nice To Have

• General knowledge of the crypto ecosystem

• Prior experience working on data-heavy products

• Prior experience working in a start-up / fast-paced environment

Location

We are a remote-first company, you can choose where you work from (CET + / - 2h). However, you’ll be asked to come into the Paris office for your onboarding.

Compensation

• Starting at 40k EUR for 1 year of experience, up to 55k EUR for 4 years of experience
