Wage: $17.00/Hour Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00a - 5:00p

This is a full-time position with benefits. Work experience that would help you be successful in this position would include previous in-home care or assisted living office positions.

Interim HealthCare is seeking a clerical support person to join our office team in Chico, CA. Our business is providing caregivers to seniors in their home, as well as staffing in assisted living communities. The CSR Clerk-Receptionist is a crucial part of our team, working together with the Manager and CSR Supervisor to achieve goals and assure that our team provides outstanding care for our clients. Our ultimate goal at Interim Chico is to allow seniors to remain safely in their homes or the assisted living communities where they reside. If you are passionate about helping others and have great organizational skills, we would love to meet you.

Essential Functions:

  • Receives incoming calls and obtains necessary information from the caller to process the call efficiently.
  • Transfers the caller to the person that is best able to assist the caller.
  • Welcomes all visitors and informs the appropriate office staff of their arrival.
  • Welcomes applicants and directs them to complete an application and submit it.
  • Assists with administrative and clerical tasks as directed.
  • Completes assignments as requested and assigned.
  • May have access to personal health information (“PHI”) necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities. Access to use and ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus one (1) year prior clerical or secretarial experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated helpful, courteous, and outgoing approach.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Ability to work flexible work schedule as needed

Working Conditions & Physical Effort:

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Physical activity is sedentary and may require occasional lifting, carrying up to 10 lbs. or pushing, pulling small objects. Sits most of the time. Infrequent to occasional walking or standing.
