Culture Booking Manager

You will build the high-volume booking of music and dance talent across events and content series throughout the world of Red Bull, reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, Artist & Label Relations. This requires all parts of the booking process from artist recommendations to negotiating offers and contracts together with project leads. You will ensure the efficient and effective use of Red Bull's resources to confirm the best possible talent for Red Bull's marketing programs. While predominately focused on Culture Marketing projects, the Culture Booking Manager services the entire organization with consulting and booking.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  ARTIST IDEATION & OUTREACH
  
  Provide recommendations for artists within project scope and budget
  
  Assess and estimate the cost of talent based on required deliverables
  
  Vet artists feasibility, availability, and brand fit
  
  Use network and industry knowledge to handle outreach to talent teams for initial interest and availability
• 
  PITCHING, NEGOTIATING & CONFIRMING
  
  Develop engaging pitch points to get talent and reps excited about project concepts
  
  Collaborate cross-departmentally with all company partners to draft and send offers to artists
  
  Negotiate deal points with artist representatives to maximize deliverables, minimize costs, and lead to confirmation from talent
• 
  FOLLOW-THROUGH
  
  Work with artist representatives, Artist Booking Specialist/Coordinator, legal, and additional company partners to ensure agreements are negotiated and signed promptly
  
  Support other teams in the collection of talent assets and facilitation of information between talent for campaigns
  
  Work with Artist Booking Specialist/Coordinator and Accounts Payable to ensure payments are being processed promptly
• 
  RELATIONSHIPS
  
  Use pre-existing relationships throughout the music and dance communities to facilitate efficient and effective bookings
  
  Ensure that all talent and talent reps for artists booked are provided with a professional and positive experience that conveys the ethos of Red Bull and maintains relationships for future business
  
  Attend music, dance, and industry events to expand network for more efficient facilitation of bookings

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

• 6+ years of direct artist booking experience
• Experience negotiating talent contracts
• Knowledge of hip hop and deep relationships within the hip hop industry and other contemporary genres
• A natural sense around talent fees and artist career projections
• Experience in brand marketing recommended

• Bachelor's degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree
• English, additional languages an advantage
• Travel 10-20%
