Customer Experience Writer

Job Summary and Opportunity:

Are you a creative Customer Experience writer? Come join our growing team! This role supports our Marketing, Communications, Consumer Deposits, and UX teams. Write engaging and clear consumer content for enrollment screens, mobile app, chatbot and SMS, IVR, web pages, emails, personal finance articles, blog posts, social media, print media, and video scripts. We are looking for a self-starter and team player with strong writing skills who is eager to learn. Collaborate with other writers and teams. Help shape our marketing content and customer experience strategy to support business growth.

Responsibilities:

Write and edit clear, engaging, well-written content for digital enrollment screens, chat, SMS, IVR, online banking, blog articles, and mobile app messaging
Draw on industry best practices, current events and trends, customer needs, and company objectives to generate ideas for engaging content that provides a best-in-class customer experience
Ensure consistency of brand voice and tone and .expand our messaging for various customer personas
Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer feedback, sentiment, and social engagement metrics, and offer suggestions for improvement
Complete drafts/edits of content and finished projects within deadlines
Work closely with marketing specialists, business unit leaders and members of the marketing, UI/UX and communications teams
Manage and track a heavy workload of multiple projects while juggling shifting priorities

Requirements:

5+ years' writing content for digital and print media
Experience writing a mix of SMS and mobile app content, chatbot messaging, marketing emails, advertising copy, web pages, thought leadership, and professional blog posts or news articles
Proven track record of writing and researching a variety of topics with various personas
Exceptionally high-quality communication standards and attention to detail
Excellent proofreading and editing skills
Project management and coaching skills
MS Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro
Work well independently and in meeting tight writing deadlines
Expert grammar, punctuation, and writing best practices
CMS and AP Stylebooks familiarity
Consumer, B2B, UX, and business content writing

Preferred:

Financial services or personal finance
Writing about small business banking, consumer deposits, and financial topics
Business journalism
Customer experience communications
