About this role


Faire is looking for a Customer Marketing Intern for 16 weeks who will support the brand marketing team in operationalizing our customer marketing function. This scope will include co-development of and scaling our customer advocacy database, and exploring new tactics to grow and engage our online audience through proactive social engagement strategies. The Customer Marketing Intern will be challenged to develop scaled programs to activate Faire’s growing global customer community of independent retailers and brands. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, highly organized, creative, and energized by building programs from the ground up.


What you’ll do 


  • Develop and implement a scalable customer advocacy database.
  • Assist in scaling customer story identification and outreach in support of marketing and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with social support and brand marketing teams to initiate 2-way conversations across online channels.
  • Investigate and test new online channels and content strategies to reach and engage retailer audience.
  • Operationalize structured social listening; pilot internal weekly shareouts of findings.


Qualifications


  • Direct or adjacent experience in a brand or customer marketing role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment without compromising work quality.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Creative mindset with ability to think outside the box. 
  • Demonstrated growth mindset and strong desire to take ownership of a currently fragmented process/framework.
  • Passion for the Faire mission and telling the stories of our brands and retailers.
  • Experience managing communities or communicating on behalf of a brand/company is a plus!
  • Experience using social media management tools (Sprinklr, etc.) is a plus!


Hourly Range


California / New York: the pay range for this role is $30.75 - $42.30 per hour. 

Colorado / Washington / New Jersey: the pay range for this role is $27.65 - $38.00 per hour.

Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Depending on the role and needs of the team, Faire employees have the flexibility to choose how they work–whether that’s mainly in the office, remotely, or a mix of both. 


Roles that list only a country in the location are eligible for fully remote work in that country or in- office work at a Faire office in that country, provided employees are located in the registered country/province/state. Roles with only a city location are eligible for in-office or hybrid office work in that city. Our talent team will work with candidates to determine what locations and roles are eligible for each option.
