THE POSITION:

FanDuel is looking for a Customer Marketing Senior Manager, Daily Fantasy Sports Retention to drive our customer retention and marketing initiatives. You will play a key role on the Customer Marketing team, with full ownership over key retention programs, and collaborate with multiple departments within the company including but not limited to Brand, Commercial, Growth, Product, and Customer Service. This is an exciting opportunity to help elevate revenue driving marketing initiatives at a premier gaming company.


THE GAME PLAN:

Everyone on our team has a part to play


  • Lead the Daily Fantasy Sports Customer Marketing team in constantly optimizing our programs, looking for opportunities to improve reach and deliverability, optimize channel strategy, and improve operational efficiency
  • Set the strategic direction of a wide array of retention programs, using data driven insights and a strong understanding of key business priorities
  • Own and oversee the full lifecycle of multiple retention & CRM campaigns, from ideation to execution to evaluation across email, mobile, onsite, and paid channels
  • Drive a test & learn approach: lead the systematic creation and execution of testing plans, and ensure results get shared & implemented
  • Cultivate extensive knowledge of our data architecture and segmentation strategy; assist in continuously improving & refining our approach
  • Lead reporting on platform metrics and campaign effectiveness
  • Lead other team members to plan and manage the marketing calendar
  • Drive collaboration with key stakeholders to collaborate on campaigns and maintain a continuous feedback loop. Serve as a subject-matter expert, advising business stakeholders on CRM best practices, including design, copy, and channel strategy
  • Implement personalization at scale using Movable Ink
  • Partner with the creative team and different brand verticals to manage the development and testing of email templates
  • Optimize our programs, look for opportunities to improve reach and deliverability, define channel strategy, and improve operational efficiency
  • Recruit and identify top talent while creating an inspiring environment for direct reports to learn and grow


THE STATS:

What we're looking for in our next teammate


  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in email and/or mobile marketing, with experience creating and managing Marketing campaigns from start to finish preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of management or mentorship experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of Customer Engagement Platform (Braze preferred)
  • Knowledge of multiple marketing channels and compliance considerations for each (CAN-SPAM, double opt-ins, etc)
  • Strong understanding of CRM platform metrics
  • Proficient in coding emails in HTML and CSS
  • Has a positive attitude and loves opportunities to collaborate with others
  • Strong organizational skills & effective at project management
  • Willing to work nontraditional hours, including weekends and evening shifts
  • Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus
  • An avid sports and gaming fan, and have played FanDuel or competitive products

The applicable salary range for this position is $124,00 to $171,000 which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
