The Intersect Group is working with a client who is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team.
Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Irvine, CA
Job Type: Contract to hire: Hybrid, 2 days in office, 3 days remote
Compensation:$22-$23 hr.
Job Duties:
- Assist Providers and employers requesting benefits, eligibility, authorizations, claims concerns, or referrals
- Assist Members with eligibility issues, COBRA, claims & other concerns regarding their coverage
- Assist Pharmacies with eligibility issues, drug authorization, drug co-pays, research of RX claims issues
- Follow-up on phone logs, claim research, eligibility, medical, dental, vision, and prescription plan issues
- Review member service procedures, publications, daily for one-call member resolution
- Maintain a 41-50 call per day minimum inbound/outbound total phone average
Essential Skills
- 1 or more years of experience in health care and claims related to position and knowledge of medical terminology
- Bilingual Spanish & English required
- High School diploma required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Team, and Zoom
- Experience in Healthcare Benefits plans, Billing and Coding, and working in a high-volume call center
- Outstanding writing, and verbal/nonverbal communication skills
- Team building skills; self-motivated, and contributes productively the team
