Customer Service Specialist (Dutch Speaker)

Job Description:


This person will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day support of production applications in an e-commerce environment involving international ocean transportation with a focus on customer service. The person is also responsible for ensuring that he/she provides excellent customer service and support by understanding the customers operating demands and how the business unit is meeting those demands with its solutions.


 Manage incoming calls, e-mail and service desk entries

 Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction

 Gather input to enrich our knowledge in customer segmentation

 Act as the glue between our customers and our platform users

 Offer solutions to our community members, making their experience with Avantida support seamless

 Contact ocean shipping lines with inquiries that need their intervention, and following up on these to ensure the solution reaches the community in a timely manner


Education Professional Qualifications:


Any Graduate

Any Technical Degree/Diploma in Computer or Equivalent will be a plus.


Special Work Hours Requirement:

5-day work week, shift duty.

Varied start/end times available to cover EMEA region.

Flexible to work on weekends and holidays if needed.

What should you be able to bring along?


  • You are native Dutch speaker and have a good knowledge of English. Ideally you know at least one more European language.
  • You have some hands-on experience in customer service
  • You are assertive and "Initiative" is your middle name
  • You have a good feeling for technology
