MishiPay (https://mishipay.com/) was founded in 2015 by Mustafa Khanwala (/in) and Tanvi Bhardwaj (/in), bringing the best of the online checkout experience to physical stores. We do this with our Scan, Pay and Go experience on our native apps, and our web app that doesn’t require any download. Shoppers can scan the products they wish to buy in store using their own phone and pay instantly. This eliminates the need to waste time waiting in line. The Covid-19 crisis has given us another mission to keep retail staff safe whilst giving shoppers the confidence to return to shops.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Customer Success Executive to join our team and grow the volume of MishiPay transactions in some of our US stores. This role will suit you if you've worked for a tech startup or SME with both consumers and clients on the deployment of solutions, ideally instore (Point of Sale, Payments etc).

This will work instore with our retailers and also shoppers. You’ll be picking up the baton from our sales team and working closely with our engineering squad to ensure the smooth go-live in stores, and then maximising the number of shoppers that make purchases using MishiPay. Throughout this process, you’ll be implementing the things we know work and creating, testing and scaling new techniques that we haven’t thought of yet. You’ll be based in LA or nearby but will need to be willing to travel across some of the US to visit MishiPay-enabled stores under your management.

You’ll be a self-starter, ambitious and keen to succeed, and you’ll have an insatiable appetite for seeing shoppers using our tech. You’ll love the thought of working in a well-funded tech startup that’s growing and gaining significant market traction. You will:

  • Recruit new promoters and onboard them to become best-in-class brand ambassadors for MishiPay’s cutting-edge tech
  • Create weekly rotas to ensure our live stores have comprehensive coverage
  • Be full of ideas about raising awareness about our tech and willing to get your hands dirty to make those ideas reality
  • Create accurate, insightful reports that illuminate what we’re doing well and where we can do better
  • Create solid, empathetic relationships with our retail clients; they need to believe in your abilities and your passion for what you do



Requirements

About you:


  • Previous experience of delivering successful deployments for a startup or early-stage software provider, working closely with clients and ideally consumers (B2B2C), ideally within instore tech, POS, Payments etc
  • A super-organised and detail-oriented mindset, with more than a dash of competitiveness
  • An understanding of the importance of your role and how it can impact the future growth of MishiPay
  • Excel whizz
  • Experience within an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment and an ability to think on your feet.
