Customer Success Scientist

We are seeking a talented scientist with deep experience in LC/MS to join the Protein Metrics Customer Success team. The incumbent will join a dynamic global team responsible for interfacing with our customers and various business units, providing pre- and post-sales support, and ensuring that customers are successful with our products.

Up to date knowledge of protein mass spectrometry data analysis and biopharma workflows are required for this role. With a flair for adopting new software tools, and an ability to learn and teach gains in efficiency, this role is ideal for a scientist who strives to expand their horizons.

The applicant must be eligible to work in the U.S., and ideally based in the West Coast of the USA. Exceptional candidates from other regions of the country will be considered. This is a remote role.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Be an interface between customers, sales, marketing, and engineering teams at Protein Metrics.
• Ensure appropriate processes and tools are used to guarantee customer success.

• Support marketing activities such as conference participation, webinars, application notes, etc.
• Interface with engineering to give specific feedback for desired new features and bug reports to maximize the pace of development.
• Act as a customer advocate to management.
• Independently provide post-sale support to customers, ensuring that the users are adept at using the software.

Requirements

• Knowledge of mass spectrometry and software applications for protein characterization.
• Hands-on experience with protein mass spectrometry data analysis
• Ability to understand the needs of the biopharmaceutical industry for handling of analytical data for biotherapeutic development and production.
• Ability to quickly learn software inside and out, eventually leading to a deep understanding of Protein Metrics software applications.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a strong desire to guarantee customer success.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Preference for candidates with experience with Protein Metrics software and workflows.
