Position Summary:
Manage inventory planning and service objectives through effective use of customer planning, forecasting, inventory management systems, detailed replenishment and in-stock analysis, and process review. Core responsibilities include providing weekly reporting (analysis, observations and implications) to uncover insights that improve sales performance and make recommendations to the customer and/or internal teams. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for collaboration with customer inventory analysts/specialists, cross-functional supply chain, product supply, sales team and marketing to achieve sales and service objectives.
In this role, you will:
Collaborative planning, forecasting and inventory management to maintain proper fill rates, maximize instocks and sales along with mitigating impact resulting from performance below goal
Prepare weekly instock analysis and inventory changes and provide actionable recommendations
Partner with Customer and K-C Business Partners to ensure understanding and execution of replenishment strategies, while working to resolve identified exceptions and recommend forecast adjustments based on analysis to positively affect inventory and sales
Prepare for, manage, and execute product flow for promotional activity, transitions and revisions, new item introductions, and strategic or seasonal demand
Develop and execute replenishment strategies by analyzing historical and current trends to drive item in-stocks to optimize sales
Monitor short-term demand forecasts from Customer, KC and other tools such as RSi data and recommend adjustments to ensure stocking levels, time and location placement to drive greatest sales opportunities
Communicate relevant changes in inventory, base, promotional, or new items for internal forecasts to Supply Chain and Product Supply
Provide supply chain input and Inventory insight during the development of the financial & cost-to-serve forecasts
Monitor core supply chain metrics and create opportunities to improve scorecard results
Lead or support strategic end-to-end initiatives that deliver YOY improvement in service, inventory and cost
Lead weekly collaboration meetings with Customer and K-C key stakeholders
Validate purchase order activity for events by analyzing forecast, sales order volume, and POS; recommend corrective action if necessary
Provide ad hoc analysis as requested by Customer and internal customers
The successful candidate will join the Amazon Customer Supply Chain team and report to Sr. Manager, Customer Supply Chain – Digital Commerce.

Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field
At least 5 years of business experience with at least 3 years of cross-functional Supply Chain experience
Proficient in data access tools and PC based applications (Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Business Warehouse (BW) Reporting, SAP) and CPFR processes
Person must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrated proficiency in: oral & written communication, analyzing, influence, collaboration, motivating, business intuition and results orientation
Prioritization and time management, cross-functional collaboration, change management, project and team management, active listening, adaptability and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated LEAN thinking & capability
Ability to travel approximately 10-20% of work time
