Customer Technical Support / HelpDesk Team Lead

Responsibilities:

Peraton is seeking a Lead Computer Technician to join our growing team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support for computer configuration/deployments, loading software, computer imaging and knowledge of Wins OS along with experience in Trouble shooting hardware and Software Issues.


What you’ll do:
  • Has one or more years of experience supervising or leading a small group of Computer Technician on daily operations.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and experience configuring, troubleshooting, and imaging/installing Windows 10/11 on laptops and desktops.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and experience installing and configuring third-party software and data recovery from backups (and/or other systems).
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and experience troubleshooting Windows 10 operating-system software, Microsoft Office, and common Enterprise software.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and experience with creating, updating, monitoring, and closing incidents in an automated ticketing system.
  • Experience with ServiceNow is highly desirable but not required.
  • Experience with Dell laptops, desktops and workstations is highly desirable but not required.
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and atleast 5 years of experience working on Computer Configuration/Deployments, Service/Help Desk (Tier 2 support), Desktop support (Tier 3 support) or equivalent experience in related position. Additional years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree.
  • 2+ years of help desk/service desk experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Public Trust clearance is a plus
