Job Description This Executive Director, Strategy and Business Development is accountable for facilitating the development of enterprise and business unit strategic plans and the identification of initiatives necessary to achieve organizational growth objectives. This person is responsible for providing guidance and direction to senior business leadership and cross-functional team members as... required in support of strategic initiatives, as well as provide business expertise needed to set planning priorities and develop implementation approach and be responsible for concurrent initiatives and projects as team lead. Responsibilities: - Lead and conduct formulation, research, preparation, and communication of strategic, operational, and financialbusiness plans that deliver enterprise growth expectations. - Ensure consistent, efficient, and cost-effective processes, procedures, and appropriate accountability. - Act as strategic thought leader in support of business direction. - Manage special projects that impact the entire organization and/or key business unit partner. - Monitor and report on performance relative to plan and strategic alignment. - Identify business unit issues, coordinate analysis and initiation of corrective action. - Assures comprehensive understanding of internal and external environmental influences. Required Qualifications 10 years' experience and technical/functional expertise in one or more of the following areas: management consulting, financial analysis, project management, public policy, mergers and acquisitions, operations management and/or marketing. Failure to provide timely proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status will result in the termination of your employment with CVS Health. If you are unable to be fully vaccinated due to disability, medical condition, or religious belief, you will be required to apply for a reasonable accommodation within the first 10 days of your employment in order to remain employed with CVS Health. As a part of this process, you will be required to provide information or documentation about the reason you cannot be vaccinated. In some states and roles, you may be required to have an approved reasonable accommodation before you can begin to actively work. If your request for an accommodation is not approved, then your employment may be terminated. Preferred Qualifications - Relevant industry (benefit administration) experience is a plus. - Proven relationship management skills at senior levels within an organization and external constituents. - Experience with complex enterprise-wide initiatives. Education Bachelor's degreerequired; Master's or Doctorate degreepreferred.
