Including training, workqueue management, supporting staff in day to day duties, special projects, and other duties as required.What you will do:· Performs the verification of patients' insurance coverage and benefits to determine eligibility for healthcare services.· Communicates with insurance companies to gather information, clarify benefit details, and address any inquiries or concerns related to insurance coverage.· Maintains detailed and accurate records of insurance verification activities, including patient information, coverage details, and communication logs.· Coordinates with insurance companies, pharmacy benefit managers, and other relevant stakeholders to resolve any coverage issues or discrepancies.· Provides necessary documentation and supporting information to facilitate claims processing and maximize reimbursement.· Inspects and addresses claim rejections, denials, or other billing-related issues to ensure proper payment for services rendered.· Provides updates on healthcare regulations, insurance guidelines, and industry trends related to benefit verification and insurance coverage.· Provides constructive feedback and coaching to ensure accuracy, compliance with guidelines, and adherence to quality standards.· Serves as a point of contact for complex or sensitive issues related to benefits verification.Required Qualifications· 2-5 years work experiencePreferred Qualifications2-5 years experience with benefits verificationEducationHigh School DiplomaPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$18.50 - $35.29This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.
