Based in Ahmedabad in India and reporting to the IT Manager, the Junior IT Support Specialist will play a key role in maintaining and growing the IT infrastructure throughout Cyara’s global locations.


The Junior IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to Cyara's employees. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software problems, installing and configuring new equipment and maintaining the company's internal IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer hardware, cloud-based software (Google Workspace, Office 365, and more) operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux Fedora), networking, and security.


Let's talk about the role responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and remote access
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems
  • Install and configure new equipment
  • Maintain the company's IT infrastructure
  • Onboarding and offboarding new employees
  • Document technical problems and solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies
  • Logging and management of tickets and assets


Let's talk about your skills/expertise:
  • A degree in IT is preferable or 3+ years of experience in IT support
  • Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Experience with networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience with security (firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection)
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
