Job title: Cyber Security Engineer

Duration: Long-term contract

Job Description:

• Identify and better understand potential internal and external threats and vulnerabilities to corporate networks, applications, and data assets;
• Compare existing security measures (both technical and policy/procedure-oriented) against industry best practices and guidelines provided by the NIST Cybersecurity Framework;
• Determine the ability of employees to correctly and adequately deal with a variety of social engineering threats.
• Performing a physical security assessment to help in prioritizing and implementing suitable security controls to safeguard employees, property, and information.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour

Experience level:

• 10 years
• 11+ years
• 9 years

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Jacksonville, FL 32204: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Linux: 1 year (Preferred)
• Cybersecurity: 1 year (Preferred)
• Information security: 1 year (Preferred)
