Position OverviewThe Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as the ability to lead and develop a team.Key Responsibilities• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures in compliance with GAAP• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports• Coordinate and assist with external audits• Oversee budgeting and financial forecasting processes• Manage and develop accounting team members, providing guidance and training as needed• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial controls and procedures are in place• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial reportingQualifications• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field• CPA certification preferred• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with 2 years in a supervisory role• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting• Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes• Proficient in budgeting and financial forecasting• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills• Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders• Experience with audits and working with external auditors• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareBenefitsFull benefits including healthcare, dental, PTO.Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
