Due to growth, we are looking to bring an experienced Payroll and Benefits Coordinator to our accounting and HR teams.Position OverviewThe Payroll Administrator is responsible for managing and processing payroll for employees and contractors. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll operations while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements. The Payroll Administrator will also assist with benefits administration and provide support in payroll-related inquiries.Key Responsibilities• Process payroll for all employees and contractors accurately and on time.• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements.• Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policies.• Manage benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.• Assist in the reconciliation of payroll accounts and prepare reports for management.• Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide excellent customer service.• Support audits related to payroll and benefits as needed.• Collaborate with the HR department for employee data management and updates.Qualifications• 3+ years experience in payroll administration• Familiarity with Workday Payroll software required• Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.• Knowledge of benefits administration processes.• Experience with accounting principles is a plus.• Background in Human Resources is an asset.• Understanding of garnishments and tax compliance regulations.• Certification as a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.• Familiarity with Deel, EOR, and contractor management is advantageous.• Knowledge of payroll regulations, time-tracking software is preferred.• Experience with payroll reconciliation, financial closings, and audits is beneficial.• Ability to manage timesheets and ensure accuracy in reporting.Benefits• Medical, dental, vision insurance• Paid Maternity/Paternity leave• Disability insurance• 401k• PTOEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
