Buyer - MRP, Supply Chain, Sourcing

Position OverviewThe Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials and goods for the company's manufacturing operations. They will work closely with the Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials. The ideal candidate will have experience with MRP, Supply Chain, and Vendor Management in a manufacturing environment. Experience in a Nutritional Supplement, Pharmaceutical, or Food Manufacturing setting highly preferred.Key Responsibilities• Source and procure raw materials, equipment, and other goods needed for manufacturing operations• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts and terms• Utilize MRP system to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials• Work closely with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to ensure production schedules are met• Analyze and monitor market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities• Implement cost reduction strategies and initiatives to optimize procurement processes• Manage RFQ (Request for Quotation) process and provide comprehensive analysis of bids• Develop and maintain vendor scorecards to track performance and ensure quality standards are met• Monitor and manage inventory levels and ensure accurate and timely documentation in ERP system• Conduct regular audits of vendors to ensure compliance with company standards and regulationsQualifications• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or buying role, preferably in a manufacturing setting• Strong knowledge of MRP systems, ERP systems, and Excel• Experience with vendor management and negotiation• Knowledge of cost reduction strategies and RFQ process• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously• Experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or supplement industry is a plus.Benefits• No cost vision insurance• Employer-paid life insurance• 12 paid company holidays• Generous paid time off benefits and sick time• Employee assistance program, and a comprehensive wellness program• Affordable medical and dental insurance plans that fit the needs of you and your dependents• Outstanding supplemental benefits, including Accident, Critical Illness, Hospitalization indemnity plans, and pet insurance• Matching 401k plan and more!Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
