Commercial Claims Adjuster

We are seeking a Claims Adjuster to evaluate complex property and casualty insurance claims and determine coverage, liability, and damages. The Claims Adjuster will investigate, analyze, and settle claims in a timely and cost-effective manner to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance while abiding by the Reservation of Rights.Key Responsibilities• Review and investigate insurance claims and liability, and determine coverage and damages.• Adjusting claims in relation to construction, construction defect, builders risk, and commercial property.• Negotiate and settle claim settlements in a timely manner.• Provide effective communication to claimants, witnesses, attorneys, representatives, and other parties involved.• Document and maintain detailed claims records.• Prepare and review claims reports and documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.• Review contracts and policies to determine coverage, risk, and liability.• Review construction, property & casualty, and analyze site details.• Utilize paralegal, technical writing, and carrier insurance adjusting skills to review and process claims.• Review architecture and engineering claims to determine coverage.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.• At least 2 years of experience in claims adjusting.• Knowledge of construction and commercial property insurance policies.• Proficiency in communication and technical writing.• Ability to assess liability and damages and to negotiate settlements.• Excellent active listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.• Strong knowledge of Third Party Administrator (TPA) and/or Carrier Insurance Adjusting procedures.Benefits• Vacation/PTO• Medical, Dental, Vision• 401K Match• Annual BonusesEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
