Director of Finance

Located in Denver, we are a construction subcontractor that provides custom interior finish solutions for US customers. Founded in 1967, we have over 1,500 professionals and 21 offices across the country. Our services include interior design, general trades, architectural woodwork, ornamental metals, doors, frames, hardware, laboratory furniture, and medical equipment.We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Finance to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in finance and accounting, 4-6 years in the Big 4, as well as strong leadership skills.Key Responsibilities• Lead and manage the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting• Oversee the monthly close process and ensure all financial statements are accurate and complete• Develop and implement financial controls, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements• Manage the job cost and percentage of completion accounting process• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting• Partner with the executive team to create and monitor financial budgets and plans• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision making• Lead the annual audit process and manage relationships with external auditors• Oversee treasury functions including cash management, forecasting and banking relationshipsQualifications• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting• Leadership experience with proven ability to lead and develop a team• Experience with lead close, job cost, and percentage of completion accounting• Experience with Big 4 accounting firms• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Nice to have: Experience with JD Edwards and Microsoft Suite, ConstructionBenefits• Compensation: Market-competitive pay, annual bonuses, and merit pay increases• Health: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus employer contributions to benefits• Retirement: Employee stock and 401K with a fully-vested employer match• Life balance: Paid time off (PTO), holidays, and employee events• Career development: Operations training, field leadership programs, on-the-job skills development, and leadership opportunitiesEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
